Absolutely ALL profits from the CDs go to charity - we can't offset postage costs against profits because there aren't any profits. Bigger retailers can accept paying 88p Paypal costs if they're making a couple of quid on the sale.
Unfortunately, we have to pass on all the costs to you guys. This includes:
- 1st class Royal Mail postage costs (£2.70 for 3 CDs packaged)
- Paypal transaction fees (88p on a £10 sale)
- Packaging for the CDs (14p)
- Staffing costs (we still need to pay the distributor)
Overall, £4 for 3 CDs with a free magazine is the absolute lowest amount we can charge.
However, none of these fees apply if you buy the CDs at the gigs and you'd still get the free magazine.
So if you want to avoid postage costs, turn up to a gig!
